Happy Birthday Lily!

Today was a very busy day. First, I got into trouble when Daddy was feeding me breakfast. I tried to tell him not to touch my graham cracker but he did it anyway.....I guess maybe I did go a little overboard with my tantrum.

Then I went to my grandma and grandpa's house and I had some pancakes and I stayed with Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy went to church. There was this white stuff falling from the sky...it was so big and fluffy and it just made me giggle as it landed in my face.

I took a nap while Mommy went to work and then it was time to go to Lily's birthday party! I don't exactly understand birthdays yet, I think it's just a special party to celebrate the fact that we get to eat cake!!! I had fun exploring Grandma's house. Mommy eventually gave up keeping me from going upstairs and finally let me go exploring, it was so much fun and I found all sorts of treasures.
I'm pretty tired now though so I should get to bed. Night night!

I LOVE NOODLES!

Mommy and Daddy took me to Fazolli's tonight and I got to eat spaghetti!!! I love that stuff!!! I really like to grab two fist-fulls and shove them both in my mouth at once and try to slurp in as many noodles as I can! I don't know what the big deal was about me getting sauce all over myself, I mean I can just lick if off of my fingers later, right??

I also went shopping at Kohls. Dad played with me as I ran around while Mommy tried to find a new pair of jeans. Then, I helped pick out my cousin Lily's birthday gift! I wish Mommy had gotten one for me too, I liked it. It was cute and purple!

I got to see my cousin Adam again today. He sure was loud! Aunt Sarah let me have some of her crackers and my new friend Alex read me a book about farm animals! I hope they make a movie out of that one, it was really good.

I wish Mom would stop trying to feed me carrots. I think I might be getting tired of them. I'd rather have NOODLES!!

I'm baack!

Sorry I've been gone so long everyone! Things got so busy over something called the Holidays. Mommy kept taking me places. I also got to go to a lot of fun parties where people fed me cookies! It doesn't get much better than that!

Lately I've been pretty sick. I had a very yucky stomach flu for two weeks that I'm still recovering from. Then I got a cold and THEN all of my molars started coming in at once. I don't know why Mommy is complaining about being tired, I'M the one who keeps waking up at night crying! Now that's exhausting!

I'm finally learning about this whole talking business too. Everyone gets really excited when I say Baby or Shoe or Hi or Bye Bye. Really, what's the big deal? I talk all the time! Just this morning I said, "Yenaky Dadzo" and I didn't get a reaction from anyone!

I'm still trying to figure out what all that white stuff is outside. Anyone know?

I have a new cousin! My Aunt Sarah and Uncle Hassan had a baby boy. His name is Adam and he's very cute. My mommy likes to hold him. Usually when she does I try to climb up on her lap too, just so Adam knows that she's MY mommy and not his! But other than that, I think he'll be cool to play with. It IS rather nice not to be the youngest one!

I like to clean!

Daddy was so proud of me last night! After we got done playing with my Mega Blocks I picked them all up and put them back in their bag. I don't know what the big deal with this cleaning thing is, it seems pretty fun to me! I wonder why Mommy is always complaining about it? As soon as I learn more things, I'll start doing more cleaning for her since I think it is so much fun.

Mommy put something called Olive Oil on my head in my bath today. I don't know why but I've seen her use that bottle when she cooks dinner so I thought that maybe she was going to try and cook me or something! She said it was just to help my cradle cap. I don't think she got it all washed out though, my hair feels funny.

Thanksgiving

Today is a special day called Thanksgiving. I'm not too sure yet what that means exactly, but I think I like it because I got to eat A LOT of good food! I even had pie! I can't believe Mommy let me have pie!

I was kind of grouchy all day. I haven't been feeling too well lately and what I really wanted to do was sleep. That is, until I had a taste of gravy! Mmmmmm......

Mommy said something about eating leftovers tomorrow. I don't know if I've ever had that before but I think I trust her judgment on food. Everyone said how pretty I looked in my dress and my shiny black shoes.
Daddy is outside hanging up these bright shiny things on the house. They look pretty!

Cookie Monster and Elmo

I saw Cookie Monster and Elmo on the afternoon news today. Man, those guys crack me up! Have you seen them?!? You should totally watch, you'll love it! They're so silly!

I heard that they're coming to Columbus, maybe I can get their autograph or something! Wouldn't that be cool?

Party!

Today I went to Aunt Sarah's baby shower! I wore a pretty dress, my new patent leather shoes and the pumpkin hat that Mommy made for me. I was the best dressed one there for sure, but Aunt Sarah sure did look pretty today too! I'm very excited to have a new cousin coming very soon. I even got to eat some yummy cake and I had a blast playing with a giant houseplant! The leaves were a lot of fun. But I'm all worn out from the fun and Mommy says that I have to go to bed now.
