Thanksgiving

Today is a special day called Thanksgiving. I'm not too sure yet what that means exactly, but I think I like it because I got to eat A LOT of good food! I even had pie! I can't believe Mommy let me have pie!

I was kind of grouchy all day. I haven't been feeling too well lately and what I really wanted to do was sleep. That is, until I had a taste of gravy! Mmmmmm......

Mommy said something about eating leftovers tomorrow. I don't know if I've ever had that before but I think I trust her judgment on food. Everyone said how pretty I looked in my dress and my shiny black shoes.
Daddy is outside hanging up these bright shiny things on the house. They look pretty!

Cookie Monster and Elmo

I saw Cookie Monster and Elmo on the afternoon news today. Man, those guys crack me up! Have you seen them?!? You should totally watch, you'll love it! They're so silly!

I heard that they're coming to Columbus, maybe I can get their autograph or something! Wouldn't that be cool?

Party!

Today I went to Aunt Sarah's baby shower! I wore a pretty dress, my new patent leather shoes and the pumpkin hat that Mommy made for me. I was the best dressed one there for sure, but Aunt Sarah sure did look pretty today too! I'm very excited to have a new cousin coming very soon. I even got to eat some yummy cake and I had a blast playing with a giant houseplant! The leaves were a lot of fun. But I'm all worn out from the fun and Mommy says that I have to go to bed now.

Shrek

I watched Shrek last night with my Daddy. That movie sure is scary!! I got really upset in the beginning when he spits out all that mud from his mouth. It made me cry a little. I wouldn't really advise other babies watch this movie. It should be rated A for adults.

Trip to the pediatrician

Dr. Brown is on my list! That man is evil!!! I don't know why mommy likes him. First he held me down and looked in my ears which I HATE and then he ordered me to get three shots! I will get him back for this, the next time I see him I am going to try really hard to throw up on him.

Mommy said I weigh 24 pounds, 8 ounces and I am 30 inches long. She seemed happy with that so I guess I am growing pretty well.

I had a lot of fun playing with another little girl in the waiting room. Her mommy gave her keys and my mommy gave me my own keys when I kept stealing the keys from my friend. Then my friend shoved me and I fell down, but I didn't really care because I still had my keys.

Yesterday I got to go to Target. I really like it there, especially when Mommy buys me new clothes. Then I had lunch at Bob Evans and I got grilled chicken tenders and carrots and I had a lot of fun playing with my straw.

Mommy keeps talking about how it might snow next week. I don't know what snow is, but it sounds like a lot of fun!!

My great escape!

Today, while Mommy and Daddy were eating dinner, I managed to escape from the kitchen and climb up the stairs all by myself! I even took Mommy's car keys with me. Unfortunately, they found me before I got into any trouble. I was really looking forward to playing in the linen closet.

I think I'm also starting to figure out this putting on clothes thing. I like to walk around with an extra shirt draped over my head. It is very stylish, all the babies will be wearing them this way soon.

This walking thing is pretty cool, I can't believe I waited so long to do it. All day long I just walk around. Mom always makes me wear socks though. Sometimes I take them off. I should hide them just like I did the DVD remote! Mommy has been looking for that thing for almost two weeks now and every time I see her looking for it, I laugh to myself! She'll never find it, I hid it really well! That'll teach her to keep taking it away from me!
